Before you start
- A badly contaminated or deteriorated oil should be replaced regardless of the replacement intervals.
- Replace the oil filter element each time that the oil is replaced.
Procedure
- After shutdown, remove the oil while it is still hot; replace the oil filter at the same time.
- Install the drain plug and pour in fresh engine oil from the oil filter port up to the FULL mark on the level gauge.
- After running the engine at idle for several minutes, recheck the oil level.
Specs & values
- Replace engine oil after the first 60 hours and every 250 hours thereafter.
