Procedure

  1. Remove, Disconnect: Remove DIS ignition module. Remove carrier plate from camshaft housing.
  2. Clean: Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket remnants.
  3. Install, Connect: Coat seal ring of carrier plate with silicone grease (white) and attach carrier plate to camshaft housing - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf.ft.
  4. Install DIS ignition module - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf.ft.

Specs & torque values

  • Tightening torque, carrier plate to camshaft housing: 12 Nm / 9 lbf.ft
  • Tightening torque, DIS ignition module: 12 Nm / 9 lbf.ft
