Before you start
- Care must be taken when checking engine oil level
- Oil must be maintained between ADD and FULL marks
Procedure
- Stop engine if in use.
- Allow sufficient time (approximately 5 minutes) for the oil to drain back into the oil pan.
- Remove the dipstick. Wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel and reinstall. Push the dipstick all the way into the dipstick tube.
- Remove the dipstick and note the oil level.
- Ensure oil level is between the FULL and ADD marks on the dipstick.
Specs & torque values
- Oil level must be between ADD and FULL marks
