Procedure

  1. Remove the wiring harness connector from the knock sensor.
  2. Remove the knock sensor from the engine block.
  3. Install the knock sensor into the engine block.
  4. Connect the knock sensor harness connector to the knock sensor.

Specs & values

  • Tighten the knock sensor to 19 N·m (14 lb ft).
