Before you start
- Close the fuel valve at tank before servicing
Procedure
- Disconnect battery terminals starting with negative side; close fuel valve at tank.
- Drain bowl by removing drain plug; replace drain plug.
- Using a strap wrench unscrew bowl.
- Remove and discard o-ring and the filter.
- Replace with a new filter.
- Lubricate new o-ring and place over bowl threads.
- Fill bowl 2/3 full with fuel and install bowl.
- Tighten with strap wrench; reconnect battery; turn on fuel.
