Before you start

  • Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn to release. Pull on the boot only, not the wire.

Procedure

  1. Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
  2. Rotate the spark plug wire boot one half turn.
  3. Pull outward on the spark plug wire boot to release from the spark plug.
  4. Remove the bolts and the spark plug wire supports.
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts.
  6. Remove the spark plug wire shields.
  7. Remove the exhaust manifold.
