Before you start
- Do not activate the transfer switch manually until all power voltage supplies are positively turned off
Procedure
- Set generator main circuit breaker to OFF (open).
- Let engine run one to two minutes at no-load.
- Set Auto/Off/Manual switch to OFF; engine should shut down.
- Check that utility power supply to transfer switch is turned OFF.
- Move manual transfer handle contacts back to Utility position.
- Turn ON utility power supply to the transfer switch.
- Set system to automatic operation.
