Before you start
- Recoil could retract unexpectedly and cause injury
Procedure
- Unplug all electrical loads from unit's receptacles
- Place generator on level surface
- Open fuel shut-off valve
- Turn engine RUN/STOP switch to RUN
- Slide engine choke to Full CHOKE position
- Pull recoil handle slowly until resistance felt, then pull rapidly
- When engine starts, move choke to 1/2 CHOKE then RUN position once running smoothly
