Before you start
- Do not use tap water in batteries.
- Do not use jumper cables to crank the generator.
Procedure
- Inspect battery posts and cables for tightness and corrosion; tighten and clean as necessary.
- Check fluid level of unsealed batteries; fill with distilled water only.
- Have state of charge and condition checked by a Generac Authorized Service Dealer.
