Procedure

  1. 4320 RPM for three (3) seconds or 4500 RPM immediately. This feature protects the generator from damage by shutting it down if it happens to run faster than the preset limit. This protection also prevents the generator from supplying an output that could potentially damage appliances connected to the generator circuit. Contact the nearest Dealer if this failure occurs. RPM Sense Loss (Shutdown Alarm) During cranking, if the Control Board does not see a valid RPM signal within three (3) seconds, it will shut down and lock out on RPM sense loss.
