Before you start
- Verify area above unit is clear of overhead wires
- Do not set up if high winds are expected
- Area should be relatively flat (less than 5 degrees slope)
Procedure
- Position the unit at ground level or spot higher than area to be illuminated
- Place unit on firm, relatively flat ground (less than 5 degree slope) and block wheels
- Pull locking pin on tongue jack and rotate 90 degrees, install pin, rotate handle clockwise to raise trailer tongue
- Note grounding stud location on trailer frame near tongue; follow NEC and local electrical code
- Pull locking pins on outriggers and pull each out until spring-loaded pin snaps into place
- Pull locking pin on each outrigger jack and rotate 90 degrees so pad faces down
- Pull locking pin on rear jack and rotate 90 degrees until spring-loaded pin snaps into place
- Turn jack handle clockwise to start leveling trailer
- Adjust all four jacks by rotating handles clockwise until pads are firmly in contact with ground
- Loosen wing nuts on trunnion and aim lamps in desired direction, tighten hardware
- Verify lamps are connected to junction box
