Before you start
- Never start or stop engine with electrical devices plugged in and turned on.
Procedure
- Put the off/run/start switch in the ON position.
- Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.
- Move the choke lever to the START position.
- Firmly grasp the recoil handle and pull slowly until increased resistance is felt, then pull rapidly.
- When the engine starts, move the choke lever until the engine runs smoothly, then fully to the RUN position.
