Procedure
- Apply engine oil to the governor gear shaft.
- Install the governor gear thrust washer over the shaft followed by the governor gear assembly.
- Slide the governor retainer ring to a distance of 8mm down over the governor gear shaft.
- Lift the gear assembly up to the governor retainer ring.
- Install the spool over the shaft so that the flange is under the flyweights.
- Slide the governor gear assembly, retainer ring and spool down the shaft until bottomed out.
