Before you start
- TO PREVENT EYE INJURY always wear eye protection when removing C-ring.
Procedure
- Place tool P/N 19436 over retainer, align drive pins with open end of C-ring.
- Push down evenly to compress spring washer.
- Turn knurled knob clockwise until C-ring pops off; discard C-ring.
- Remove retainer, return spring, spring washer, pinion gear, and starter clutch.
