Generac — Engine Housing Removal

For these Generac models: iX1600, iX2000, iX800.

Applies to: Generac Ix1600, Generac Ix2000, Generac Ix800

Procedure

  1. 19. Remove one (1) Phillips screw from the fuel pump
  2. 20. Remove two (2) 8 mm nuts from the carburetor plastic
  3. 21. Remove ten (10) Phillips screws around the top and
  4. 22. Isolate the wiring harness from the housing and remove
  5. 23. Separate the two housings to expose the engine.
