Before you start

  • Note: Make sure wires are routed over armature mount-

Procedure

  1. 1. Turn flywheel so magnet is away from armature.
  2. 2.\install ground wire onto tab terminal on armature.
  3. Note: Make sure wires are routed over armature mount-
  4. ing posts and away from flywheel.
  5. 3.Assemble armature to engine, Fig. 2.
  6. a. Mounting holes in armature are slotted. Push armature
  7. away from flywheel as far as possible and tighten one screw
  8. to hold armature in place.
  9. 4, Repeat for second armature.
