Procedure

1. 3. Turn OFF all power voltage supplies to the transfer
2. switch, -sing whatever means provided (such as the
3. "Utility" and "Standby" main fine circuit breakers).
4. 4. Disconnect all wires from transfer mechanism ter-
5. minal tugs N1, N2, T1, T2, E1, £2.
6. 5. Disconnect all wires from transfer mechanism ter-
7. minals Al, A2, B1, Be.
8. 6. Remove the M5-0.80 capscrews, lockwashers and
9. flatwashers that retain the transfer mechanism in the
10. enclosure. Then, remove the transfer mechanism.
11. Electrical Section Disassembly
12. 1. Remove two (2) screws that retain the outer cover to
13. the transfer mechanism (Figure 2).

18. 2. Remove four (4) screws that retain the inner cover
19. (Figure 3).

23. Means of two long screws with countersunk heads
24. (Figure 3) and a retaining bar with threaded holes. Lift
25. up on the inner cover slightly and remove the two long
