Before you start

  • NOTE

Procedure

  1. 3) Withdraw the exciter cover shutter cover with PMG,
  2. withdrawing the 08 hexagon headed screws M6,
  3. according to Figure 14.37.

  5. 4) Bind the connecting cables (3 and 4) of PMG with
  6. the polyamide clamp 6.6 in the back cover,
  7. according to Figure 14.38.

  9. 5) Assemble and fasten the exciter cover wi
  10. th PMG
  11. through the 4 hexagon headed screws M10 with
  12. torque of 40 to 49 Nm, according to Figure 14.39.

  14. NOTE
  15. PMG connection cables tips (3 and 4) shall
  16. be taken to the alternator terminal box to
  17. make the voltage regulator connection.
  18. 6) Turn the alternator rotor with the hand to check that
  19. the installation is correct and that there is no part
  20. dragging.

  • 10 Nm
  • 49 Nm
