Before you start

Procedure

  1. 10. Place the upper cover in the terminal box and
  2. fasten them with the screws, applying the torque
  3. recommended in Table 14.1.

  6. All AG10 line alternators standard model have
  7. forecasting for installation of auxiliary exciter (PMG).
  8. PMG installation shall be performed in the alternator
  9. back side.

  11. Before starting the installation service of
  12. the auxiliary exciter (PMG) in the
  13. alternator, check that it cannot be driven
  14. by any manual or automatic system,
  15. isolating completely the alternator,
  16. disconnecting it mechanically and
  17. electrically.
  18. 14.3.1 Mechanical assembly of PMG
  19. To assemble the PMG in the alternator, proceed
  20. according to the steps described below:
