Procedure

  1. 7 volts, the meter will "Beep" once as well as display the volt- age drop. A continuous tone indicates continuity (shorted diode) An incomplete circuit (open diode) will be displayed as "OL."
  2. Insert RED test lead into ¥n* receptacle in meter.
  3. Insert BLACK test lead into the “COM” receptacle in meter.
  4. Rotate selector to >I! (Diode Test) position.
  5. Insert RED test lead clip into connector “A" (black wire), Fig.
  6. Leave attached for remainder of test.
