Procedure
- Place a layer of non-combustible insulation beneath the unit's mounting base rails.
- Place a layer of sheet metal beneath the unit's mounting base rails.
- Both the layer of insulation and the sheet metal must extend beyond the generator base to a distance of at least 12 inches (30.5 cm) on all sides.
