Procedure

1. With oil drained, remove old oil filter by turning counterclockwise.
2. Apply light coating of clean engine oil to gasket of new filter.
3. Screw new filter on by hand until gasket lightly contacts adapter.
4. Tighten filter an additional 3/4 to one turn.
5. Refill with proper recommended oil.
6. Start engine and check for leaks.
