Before you start
- Allow engine to cool before draining oil
Procedure
- Clean area around oil drain cap
- Remove oil drain cap and dipstick to drain oil
- Install oil drain cap and tighten securely
- Place container beneath oil filter
- Turn filter counterclockwise to remove
- Coat new filter gasket with clean engine oil
- Turn filter clockwise until gasket contacts lightly
- Tighten additional 3/4 turn
- Fill engine with recommended oil
- Wipe up any spilled oil
- Dispose of used oil properly

- Oil capacity: 1.8 Quarts with filter change
