Before you start

- Under normal operating conditions, if repair of generator set or replacement of any parts is necessary dur-

- REMOVE FUSE
Procedure
- Disable the unit from
- Check the engine oil level.
- Check the engine coolant
- Check the engine coolant
- Check the natural gas
- Check the air inlets and
- Check the battery
- Check the battery posts,
- Check the unit wiring for
- Check the engine
- Visually inspect the unit
- Test the engine and
- Initiate an automatic start
- Start and exercise the unit
- Change the engine oil.
- Replace the engine oil
- Replace the engine air
- Check the engine spark
- Perform a 5 minute no-load
- Return the unit to standby
- 15 amp fuse blown.
- Replace fuse.
- 7.5 amp fuse blown.
- Replace fuse.
- Loose or corroded or defective
- Tighten, clean or replace
- Defective starter contactor.
- Replace contactor.
- Defective starter motor.
- Replace starter motor.
- Dead or Defective Battery.
- Remove, change or replace battery.
- Out of fuel.
- Replenish fuel.
- Fuel solenoid (FS) is defective
- Replace solenoid.
- Open Wire #14 from Engine Control
- Reconnect wire.
- Spark plugs defective.
- Clean, regap or replace plugs.
- Flame arrestor (air cleaner) plugged or
- Clean or replace as needed.
- Plugged fuel line.
- Unclog fuel line.
- Defective spark plugs.
- Clean, regap or replace plugs.
- Engine oil level is low.
- Check oil and add oil as needed.
- Engine is overheated.
- Check cooling system for leaks.
- Defective Low Oil Pressure Switch
- Replace switch.
- Defective Coolant Temperature Switch
- Replace switch.
- Defective Control Module circuit board.
- Replace board.
- Coolant Level is Low.
- Repair leak - Add coolant.
- Defective Low Coolant Level Switch
- Replace Switch.
- Defective AUTO/OFF/MANUAL switch
- Replace switch.
- Open/disconnected wire #15A between
- Reconnect/close wire.
- Defective Control Module circuit board
- Replace board.
- Check main line circuit breaker.
- Reset to ON or CLOSED.
- Check circuit breaker & fuses.
- Reset and replace, if necessary.
- Transfer switch set to NORMAL position
- Set to GENERATOR position.
- Generator internal failure.
- Contact a dealer facility.
- Thermal circuit breaker open.
- Auto-reset - Wait five min. and
