Procedure
- Immerse thermostat in water.
- Raise water temperature gradually.
- Check valve opening temperature and valve lift.
- Valve should start to open at 158 F (70 C).
- Valve should be fully open at 185 C (85 C) with 0.31 inch (8.0mm) lift.
