Generac 9344 — Drying the Generator

Procedure
- Open generator main circuit breakers; apply no electrical loads while drying.
- Disconnect the voltage regulator.
- Provide external source of warm, dry air through generator air inlet.
- Do not exceed 185 F (85 C).
- Start generator and run about 2 to 3 hours.
- Shut engine down and retest stator and rotor insulation for breakdown.
