Procedure

1. Set generator panel auto-off-manual switch to OFF.
2. Set generator main line circuit breaker to OFF or OPEN.
3. Turn OFF utility power supply to transfer switch.
4. Manually actuate transfer switch main contacts to STANDBY position.
5. Set generator auto-off-manual switch to MANUAL. Engine should crank and start.
6. Let engine warm up and stabilize for a minute or two at no-load.
7. Set generator main line circuit breaker to ON or CLOSED.
