Generac 8kW Air-Cooled — Manual Shutdown and Retransfer Back to Utility

Procedure

  1. Set generator main line circuit breaker to OFF or OPEN.
  2. Let generator run at no-load for a few minutes to cool.
  3. Set generator auto-off-manual switch to OFF. Wait for engine to stop.
  4. Turn OFF utility power supply to transfer switch.
  5. Manually actuate prepackaged transfer switch to UTILITY source side.
  6. Turn ON utility power supply to transfer switch.
  7. Set generator auto-off-manual switch to AUTO.
