Before you start
- Allow engine to cool before draining oil
- Avoid prolonged contact with used motor oil

Procedure
- Remove oil drain hose from holding clamp.
- Use one wrench to hold hex on hose fitting, second wrench to remove drain plug.
- Drain oil into a suitable container.
- Install drain plug onto end of oil drain hose and install hose into holding clamp.
- Rotate oil filter counterclockwise to remove from oil filter adapter.
- Apply light coat of clean engine oil to gasket of new oil filter.
- Install oil filter by hand until gasket contacts adapter; tighten 3/4 to one full turn.
- Remove fill cap and fill engine with recommended quantity and type of oil.
