Before you start
- Change oil while engine is still warm.
Procedure
- Clean area around oil drain hose and plug.
- Remove oil drain plug and oil fill plug to drain oil.
- Install oil drain plug and tighten securely.
- Place container beneath oil filter; turn counterclockwise to remove.
- Coat new filter gasket with clean engine oil.
- Turn filter clockwise until gasket contacts adapter, then tighten 3/4 turn.
- Fill oil sump with recommended oil.
- Wipe up any spilled oil.

- Oil capacity w/ filter change = 1.5 Qts.
