Before you start
- Disconnect negative battery cable before maintenance.
Procedure
- Run engine until warm, then stop.
- Clean area around oil drain hose and plug.
- Remove oil drain plug and oil fill plug; drain oil.
- Install drain plug and tighten securely.
- Place container under oil filter; turn counterclockwise to remove.
- Coat new filter gasket with clean oil; install and tighten 3/4 turn after contact.
- Fill oil sump with recommended oil; wipe spills.
