Before you start

  • Do not tighten plug excessively or filter head may be cracked.

Procedure

  1. Remove 1/2 inch pipe plug and install a calibrated 100 psi test gauge at the test point.
  2. Remove secondary filter discharge pipe and install a 3/4 inch pipe plug in opening.
  3. Start booster pump and observe test pressure gauge.
  4. To correct valve setting, remove valve cap and loosen adjustment locknut.
  5. Adjust valve as needed according to DATA specifications.

Tools required

  • Calibrated 100 psi test gauge
  • 3/4 inch pipe plug
  • 1/2 inch pipe plug

  • Fuel pressure specification per DATA
