Procedure

  1. If set has a voltage adjust potentiometer (R22) on
  2. With unit running at no load, turn generator vol-
  3. With generator set running at no load, turn poten-
  4. Turn R27 clockwise slowly until voltage first sta-
  5. Remove voltage regulator from unit according to
  6. Referring to Figure 5 and Table 1, connect test
  7. Open switch in 120 VAC supply to VARIAC.
  8. Plug VARiAC into 120 VAC source.
  9. Proceed with checkout according to steps in

  • R1 ..................... .Resistor, 100-Ohm 400 W
  • big 100 ohm 400 watt resistor (Rl) serves as the field
