Ford WSG-1068 — Removal of Heater Water Inlet Tube

Procedure

  1. 1.
  2. Drain the cooling system.
  3. 2.
  4. Remove the upper and lower intake manifold together.
  5. Refer to Section 01 for details.
  6. 3.
  7. Remove the two studs securing the tube to the rear
  8. of the right side cylinder head and remove the tube.
  9. 4.
  10. Inspect the water pump tube assembly o-rings for
  11. damage.
  12. 2.
  13. Install the heater wa
  14. ter outlet tube.
  15. 3.
  16. Install the water tube-mounting studs.
  17. 4.
  18. Install the lower and upper intake manifold. (Refer to
  19. Section 01.
  20. 5.
  21. Install rubber cap and clamp on outlet tube if not
  22. using LPG or cab heater.
  23. 6.
  24. Refill the cooling system.
