Before you start

  • Unless the choke valve is bent or damaged

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the regulator wiring plug and install a
  2. With the engine idling, connect the positive lead of
  3. If no voltage is present, repair the alternator or the
  4. If the above circuit tests are satisfactory, install a new
  5. Then, remove the jumper wire from the regulator
