Before you start

  • Use caution - tension on seal spring released as impeller unscrewed

Procedure

  1. Turn cross arm on seal grease cup (46) clockwise until rest against cover
  2. Use impeller wrench to remove impeller or use hammer on block of wood against vane
  3. Unscrew impeller counterclockwise
  4. Inspect and replace if cracked or worn
  5. Slide impeller adjusting shims (49) off shaft and mark for reassembly
