Before you start
- Serious damage to the pump will result if it is run with the shut-off valves closed or with insufficient oil level in the reservoir
Procedure
- Close the shut-off valve before servicing the filter to minimize oil loss
- Clean and reassemble with a new disposable cartridge as with an automotive oil filter
- Open shut-off valve fully before putting pump back in operation
Specs & values
- Replace element every 250 hours of operation
