Before you start

Procedure
- Perform tests as follows:
- Connect ohmmeter leads between F1+ and rotor
- If meter registers, rotor is grounded.
- Replace grounded rotor with new, identical part.
- Remove rotor: leads F1+ and F2- from rotating
- Using ohmmeter, check resistance between F1
- Replace defective rotor with new, identical part if
- Inspect all wires for breaks, loose connections,
- Remove wires from terminals at each end and
- Using an ohmmeter, check each wire against
- Reconnect or replace wires according to
- Stop engine.
- Disconnect and if necessary, label the following
- Remove four screws at corners.
- Remove used PC board.
- Install new PC board; secure with four screws.
- Reconnect wires removed in step 2 at the proper
- Place jumper W10 at proper terminals for your
- Perform Voltage Calibration and Stability Ad-

Specs & torque values
- Resistance should be 0.5 to 0.6 ohms at 68" F (20" C).
- Connect leads of ohmmeter between each CR lead
- ohmmeter. An ohmmeter reading less than infinity
- For these tests, use an ohmmeter on R x 100 scale.
- 2. Connect ohmmeter leads between F1+ and rotor
- 2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between F1
- OHMMETER -
- Using an ohmmeter set at R x 100, test each stator
- one megohm indicates a ground.
- OHMS @ 20°C (68°F)
- using an ohmmeter, check each wire end to end
- 3. Using an ohmmeter, check each wire against
