Procedure
- With an oil filter wrench, remove and discard the oil filter.
- Coat the new filter gasket with clean engine oil.
- Screw the filter onto the cylinder block and threaded adapter.
- Tighten the filter 1/2 turn after the gasket contacts the cylinder block.
- Add one quart extra when changing the oil filter.
