Before you start
- applications for proper reassembly (Fig. 15).
- The position of the link in the rocker arm slots
- and the position of the throttle return spring or the
- positive throttle return spring on some model

Procedure
- Place new gasket on pump and position pump on
- Connect fuel inlet, outlet, and fuel tank return lines.
- Remove the bowl cover screws.
- Separate the bowl cover from the carburetor body. Do

- Rotate the pump operating rod and disconnect the

- Rotate the pump operating rod and remove the rod
- Turn the carburetor body upside down and remove
- With a bearing scraper or a scraper ground from an
