Before you start
- If the machine fails while the operator's platform is raised or extended, do not attempt to climb down the boom assembly.
Procedure
- Press and hold the EMERGENCY PUMP button on the remote control pendant, or
- Press and hold the EMERGENCY PUMP button on the platform control console.
- Select the proper function (boom retract, boom lower or swing) to safely lower the platform to ground level.
- Release the emergency pump button to allow a 30 second rest period after every 30 seconds of operation.
- Correct the cause of the failure of main power before returning the machine to service.
