Procedure
- Install dial indicator against flywheel face.
- Position flywheel full forward or rearward to eliminate end play.
- Turn flywheel and read indicator.
- If runout exceeds specification, remove flywheel.
- Check for burrs between flywheel and crankshaft mounting flange.
