Procedure

  1. Lubricate the engine front cover and the crankshaft front seal inner lip.
  2. Use Super Premium SAE 5W30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.
  3. Use the Crankshaft Seal Replacer to install the crankshaft front seal into the engine front cover.
  4. Install crankshaft pulley.

Tools required

  • Crankshaft Seal Replacer

Specs & torque values

  • Super Premium SAE 5W30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent
