Procedure
- Remove the brush holder and cover assembly from the rear housing.
- Remove the terminal bolts and the brush assemblies.
- Position new brush terminals on the terminal bolts and assemble terminals, bolts, brush holder washers and nuts.
- Depress the brush springs in the brush holder cavities and insert the brushes on top of the springs.
- Hold brushes in position with a stiff wire and position the brush leads as shown.
- Install the brush holder and cover assembly; remove the retracting wire and seal the hole with water-proof cement.
