Before you start

  • Mating parts must make contact
  • Unless otherwise instructed, at
  • These bolts must be replaced

Procedure

  1. Use the (A) Front Cover Seal Remover to remove the
  2. Remove the engine front cover fasteners.
  3. Remove the engine front cover (6019) from the front
  4. Remove the crankshaft sensor ring from the crankshaft
  5. Remove the balancing shaft bearing caps.
  6. Remove balancing shaft.

Specs & torque values

  • 12 Nm
  • 20 Nm
