Procedure
- Position the generator on the generator bracket.
- Install the bolts and tighten to 40-55 Nm (30-40 ft-lb).
- Install the drive belt over the generator pulley.
- Relieve the tension of the drive belt tensioner and install the drive belt over tensioner.
- Connect generator voltage regulator wiring to the voltage regulator. Tighten generator Battery Positive Voltage (B+) wire attaching nut to 9-12 Nm (6.5-9 ft-lb).
- Install wiring connector bracket.
- Install snow/ice shield.
- Connect battery ground cable.
Specs & torque values
- Mounting bolt torque: 40-55 Nm (30-40 ft-lb)
- Battery Positive Voltage (B+) wire nut torque: 9-12 Nm (6.5-9 ft-lb)
