Procedure
- Turn the crankshaft belt pulley clockwise only; align the mark on the belt pulley with the 'O' mark on the front cover.
- Turn the pulley to and fro slightly until the valves of cylinder No. 1 or No. 4 are rocking.
- When valves in cylinder No. 4 are rocking, adjust No. 1 cylinder valve clearances.
- Rotate the belt pulley a further half turn; when No. 3 valves rock, adjust No. 2 cylinder.
- When No. 1 valves rock, adjust No. 4; when No. 2 valves rock, adjust No. 3.

- Exhaust 0.32 mm cold
