Before you start
- Never open vent screw while generator is running.
Procedure
- Switch off generator.
- Ensure external expansion tank connected and mounted at sufficient height.
- Open ventilating screw above cooling water pump casing.
- Open ventilating screw on thermostat casing.
- Pour cooling water into filling necks.
- When level stops dropping, close filler cover and vent screws.
- Start generator, run approx. 60 seconds, then switch off.
- Refill cooling water via compensation tank.
- Repeat procedure 1-5 times until no air remains.
