Before you start
- Do not use battery bank or generator starter battery; could damage winding.
Procedure
- Switch off shore power and any AC source.
- Switch generator off; starter may not be operated.
- Switch power source selector to generator.
- Connect two poles of a 9 Volt battery to plug socket or contacts briefly (1-2 seconds).
- Do not use battery bank or starter battery.
- Generator can normally be started.
