Before you start
- Do not use battery bank or generator starter battery; may damage coil.
Procedure
- Switch off shore power and interrupt any AC source.
- Switch off genset; do not operate starter.
- Set power source selector to generator.
- Connect only plug socket to generator.
- Briefly connect 9 V battery to plug socket or appropriate contacts.
- Apply DC voltage only 1-2 seconds.
- Start generator normally.
